Perhaps not so much different from farm country in Illinois at the same nook of history, no? Except there is no sea in Illinois. Perhaps a lake or two... My grandparents and great-grandparents were farmers, as was my father (dairy). I often dream of traveling back to see how beautiful it was without all the hardness of today's "modernity". Cheers!
